Exciting News: The Transformation of Shayna's Village at Shalom Orlando Begins!
At long last, the eagerly anticipated renovation of Shayna’s Village at Shalom Orlando, formerly known as the Jewish Community Center in Maitland, is officially underway! We’re thrilled to announce that this 5,000-square-foot space is transforming remarkably.
As expected, the 5,000 SF renovation of Shayna’s Village at Shalom Orlando is complete! The upgrade includes a modern teaching kitchen ready to host cooking classes for all ages, featuring technology to connect with celebrity chefs virtually. A new Sensory Room enhances early childhood education and supports those with special needs.
The addition of several new therapy offices creates a welcoming space for everyone. At the heart of this project is Shayna’s Village, which boasts an 800 SF classroom dedicated to early childhood development and a spacious 700+ SF Art Studio. This revitalized area is poised to serve the community effectively for many years.
